We are so excited to update everyone that Madalyn is done with Radiation!!! WOO HOO!! Madalyn was such a little trooper through her many days of radiation. Every morning Madalyn and either Trish or Terrell would head down to Salt Lake around 5:30 a.m. for her daily dose of radiation. The nurses commented on what a good little patient she was. They couldn't believe how well she came out of the anesthesia every time, with a little smile on her face, ready to move on to whatever came next! This was through the pain it gave her in her throat, eventually to the point where she stopped talking because of the pain and through the intense burn on the back of her neck where they directed the radiation. Madalyn has been such a trooper and our little ray of sunshine. Even through it all, she always seems to give one of her Madalyn smiles or blow a kiss. We love you Madalyn! Congratulations on graduating from radiation!

Way to go Madayln...and her mom and dad. What a huge obstacle to get through. This is something we will be facing with our granddaughter Caitlin. It's amazing to me how strong and full of faith these little children are. I truly believe they have angels watching over them. I love the pictures. She is just adorable! My prayers will always be with her and her family. Keep us posted! God bless!
Yipeee!! We are so excited that Madalyn is finished with the radiation! She is such a strong little girl! We miss you all so much! We will continue to send our love and prayers you way!!

You don't know me, but I am a friend of Camille and Bids. Camille directed me to your blog because my 19 mo. old nephew was just diagnosed with a brain tumor and had it removed last week. They discovered that it was an AT/RT tumor. I was wondering if that is the same thing as Madalyn. It sounds very similar.
It is comforting to read the updates on Madalyn. It's good to know someone (even indirectly) who is going through the same thing. Congratulations on being done with radiation!
